Two Trailblazers placed in the top-15 overall to help lead Dixie State women's golf to a tie for fifth place at the Weber State Kelsey Chugg Invitational on Tuesday at the Wolf Creek Resort Golf Course.

The Trailblazers (314-313-304), who sat in sixth place after the opening 36 holes of play on Monday, combined to fire a 16-over par 304 on their final loop on Tuesday to move up one spot and tie Montana (317-308-306) at plus-67 931. The host Wildcats (300-301-297-898; +34) led from start to finish to claim the team title, 24 shots clear of runner-up Northern Colorado (316-304-302-922; +58), followed by Southern Utah (311-307-306-924; +60) and Montana State (309-314-302; +61) in third and fourth place, respectively.

Sophomore Tannica Porter (79-75-72) led Dixie State's final round charge as she birdied two of her final five holes on her way to a career-low even par 72 to finish in a three-way tie for fourth on the leaderboard at plus-10 226. The sophomore, who led the entire field in pars (39), rolled in three birdies to go with 13 pars to post her collegiate top-five individual finish.

Junior Abby Livingston (78-78-76), who hovered in the top-20 throughout the tourney, fired a 4-over 76 with three birdies on her final loop to join two others tied for 15th at plus-16 232. For Livingston, it was her second top-15 finish as a Trailblazer.

Sophomore Abbey Porter (82-78-77) finished in a four-way tie for 23rd at plus-21 237, followed by fellow sophomore Kaitlin Tsukamoto (76-83-79) in t-27th at plus-22 238, and junior Tayllore Ward (81-82-81) placed solo 36th at plus-28 244 to round out DSU's scoring.
