Biography
At Dixie State 2020-21 (COVID-Freshman): Played in two events last spring, both of which coming in her home state, and finished the year with an 80.80 stroke average in five competitive rounds … carded consecutive rounds in the 70s, including a collegiate-low 6-over 78 in her first loop, en route to a t-53rd place finish at the Montana State Bobcat Desert Classic (4/12-13).
At Highland High School: Earned four varsity letters in golf for the Hawks … placed 29th-overall at the 2019 Arizona HS state championship tournament … also lettered in basketball … played in the HHS Orchestra and was a member of the National Honor Society … was an HHS Golden Scholar honoree and graduated in the top 5% of her class.
Personal: Born in Mesa, Arizona … parents are John and Cherie Naumann … mother Cherie played college volleyball … also recruited by Cal State Northridge, Mesa CC, Chandler-Gilbert CC and South Mountain CC … currently majoring in exercise science.
Why I chose Dixie State: “I chose Dixie State because I get to play golf here and because the school honored the out-of-state presidential scholarship I received.”
