Utah Tech posted an 11
th-place finish at the Minnesota Bell Bank "Pay It Forward" Collegiate, which wrapped up play on Tuesday at the Wigwam Resort Blue Course in Litchfield Park, Ariz.
The Trailblazers stood in 10
th place after opening with an 8-over par 292 on their Monday morning loop. Utah Tech struggled during its afternoon round as the Blazers combined to shoot a 17-over 301, which dropped the team one spot down to 11
th at plus-25 593.Â

Utah Tech came back on Tuesday with a seven-over 291, but could not make up any ground on the field, and wound up with a three-round total of plus-32 884.Â
South Florida (272-278-276-826; -26) led wire-to-wire to claim the team title by 10 shots over runner-up Florida Gulf Coast (283-273-280-836; -16), while Montana State (277-272-289-838; -14) placed third.Â
Bolstered by a final round and collegiate career-low 3-under 68, sophomore
Maria Purroy Galan (70-77-68) was Utah Tech's top finisher as she tied for 25
th at plus-2 215. The sophomore carded a team-best two eagles and one birdie on her final loop, which helped her vault up 14 spots on the leaderboard, and she tallied five total birdies overall.Â

Meanwhile, junior
Mia Cesarek (73-72-77) finished in a two-way tie for 47
th at plus-9 222, followed by a trio of Trailblazers tied for 58
th-overall.Â

Jane Olson fired matching scores of 75-76-75 over the three rounds, while redshirt freshman
Gabrielle Roznicki bounced back from a 3-over 74 and an 8-over 79 on Monday with a 2-over 73 to join her teammates at plus-13 226.Â

Utah Tech will return to Arizona for its 2025-26 regular season finale at the Montana State Bobcat Desert Classic, which will be played on April 13-15, at The Golf Club of Estrella in Goodyear.
