Biography
At Dixie State 2020-21 (COVID-Freshman): Was one of two players to play in a team-high five events and finished the year second on the team in stroke average at 79.79 in 14 competitive rounds … was second on the team with nine rounds in the 70s, including a 4-over 76 in her first collegiate loop at the CS Bakersfield Valley Inv’l (2/8) … fired a career-low 2-over 74 in the final round of the Lamar Cardinal Challenge (4/6) en route to a solo 19th-place finish … placed t-38th at the 2021 WAC Championships … earned Academic all-WAC honors.
At Willamette High School: Earned three varsity letters in golf for the Wolverines … was the Midwestern League and OSAA State 5A medalist as a senior in 2019 … was a two-time all-District first team selection … posted three top-15 individual state championship finishes overall … also lettered in basketball.
Personal: Born in Boise, Idaho … parents are Ken and Holli Porter … also recruited by Boise State, Eastern Washington, Washington State, Chico State and Sonoma State … favorite teams are the Golden State Warriors, Milwaukee Bucks and Duke Men’s Basketball … favorite athletes are Steph Curry and Giannis Antetokounmpo … currently majoring in communication.
