Dixie State closed out its second NCAA Division I season in the final round of the 2022 Western Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championships played on Wednesday at Riverhill Country Club in Kerrville, Texas.
All five Trailblazer players were participating as individuals as DSU is ineligible for the team portion of the WAC Championships during the program's transition to NCAA D-I status.
A pair of Trailblazers made a big move up the player leaderboard on the final day on Wednesday, highlighted by sophomore
Taylor Naumann (80-80-73), who fired DSU's low round of the event with a 1-over 73 to vault 15 spots into t-23
rd place at plus-17 233. Naumann penciled in two birdies and 13 pars on her final loop and led the team with eight birdies over her three rounds, which was good for t-sixth overall in the field.

Fellow sophomore
Abbey Porter (79-80-74-233; +17) also had a solid day on Wednesday as she rolled in three birdies as part of a final round 2-over 74 to move up seven spots and join Naumann in t-23
rd place. Porter birdied three of her final five holes on the front nine to go out in 3-under 33, but was hampered by five bogeys during her second nine holes.

Junior
Abby Livingston (79-77-81) wound up tied with three others in 30
th-place at plus-21 237, followed by sophomores
Tayllore Ward (88-79-86-253; +37) and
Grace Williams (88-83-87-258) in solo 52
nd and 53
rd, respectively.
New Mexico State (296-301-301-898, +34) led wire-to-wire to repeat as WAC team champions as the Aggies finished three shots clear of runner-up Sam Houston (301-302-298-901; +37), while Seattle U (301-310-299-910, +46) finished in third.
Dixie State played in nine events this season and posted two top-10 team finishes, highlighted by a t-fifth place showing at the Weber State/Kelsey Chugg Invitational last September in Eden, Utah.
