Utah Tech opens the 2025-26 season this upcoming Monday and Tuesday at the Utah Valley Wolverine Invitational. The two-day, 54-hole event will be played at the par-72, 6,105-yard TalonsCove Golf Club in Saratoga Springs, Utah.
The 10-team tournament field will include the Trailblazers and fellow WAC members UVU and Southern Utah, along with CS Bakersfield, CSUN, Idaho State, Lamar, Weber State, Westminster and Wyoming. Play will begin each day at 8 a.m., while Monday's second round will begin immediately after the completion of round one.Â
HEAD COACH LINDSEY ORTH: Lindsey Orth (Utah Tech, 2007) begins her 10th season as head coach of the Trailblazer women's golf program.Â
        Last season, Coach Orth finished its fifth season of NCAA Division I play with four top-5 showings in nine team events, highlighted by a t-second place finish at the Utah Valley Wigwam Preview in February (2/2-4/25), and a seventh-place showing at the 2025 WAC Championships.Â
        Prior to her arrival at Utah Tech, she served as assistant golf professional at the Sand Hollow Golf Resort, and as an LPGA assistant teaching professional for the City of St. George. Orth also spent two seasons on the coaching staff of the Hurricane High School girl's golf program, including a one-year stint as the Tigers' head coach in the 2010-11 season.Â
        Coach Orth, who is an apprentice member of the LPGA T&CP, played collegiately at the University of Central Arkansas, where she helped lead the Bears to six-consecutive team tournament wins and a Gulf South Conference championship.

THIS YEAR'S SQUAD:Â Utah Tech returns all eight members of last season's team, and added one newcomer, to its 2025-26 roster.Â
        Five of the eight returnees played in all nine team events last season, including seniorsÂ
Jenna Anderson andÂ
Jane Olson, along with juniorsÂ
Mia Cesarek andÂ
Samantha Phelan, and sophomoreÂ
Maria Purroy Galan.
        Utah Tech also welcomed back redshirt juniorÂ
Samira Salinas, and redshirt freshmenÂ
Riley Doherty andÂ
Gabrielle Roznicki, and added Canadian freshmanÂ
Coryn Tardif to this year's roster.Â
Heading into UVU's season-opening tourney, Cesarek, Phelan, Anderson, Purroy Galan, and Salinas will be the five who will tee it up for Utah Tech. In addition, Doherty and Olson will play as individuals.Â
2025-26 EVENT SCHEDULE:Â Utah Tech will play in nine regular season events, including five tournaments this fall. Following the UVU Classic, the Trailblazers return to northern Utah to play at the Weber State Utah Shootout on Sept. 14-15, at the Wolf Creek Resort Golf Course in Eden.
        The Trailblazers will close out the 2025 fall slate with two more team events, beginning at the Arkansas State Red Wolves Classic on Oct. 13-14, before heading south to southern Nevada for the Northern Arizona Clash at Boulder Creek on Oct. 27-28.
        Utah Tech will kick off its 2026 spring season in SoCal at the UC Riverside Soboba Spring Classic on Feb. 6-8.Â
        The Blazers will then play three of their next four team events in Arizona, starting with the Western Michigan Rio Verde Inv'l at the Rio Verde CC on Feb. 21-23. Following a week off, Utah Tech will stay close to home for the Southern Utah-hosted Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational, which will be played March 6-8 at Sunbrook Golf Course.Â
        Utah Tech returns to Arizona for its final two regular season team events, including the Minnesota Classic at Wigwam Resort in Litchfield Park (March 23-24), and will close the regular season at the Montana State Bobcat Desert Classic in Goodyear (April 13-15).Â
        The 2026 Western Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championships will be played April 20-22, at The Clubs of Stonebridge Ranch in McKinney, Texas. Â
