Lindsey Orth is in her 10th season as head coach of the Trailblazer Women's Golf program. Last season, she led Utah Tech to four top-5 showings in nine team events, including a t-second place showing at the Utah Valley Wigwam Preview, and a seventh place finish at the 2025 WAC Championships.
In 2023-24, Coach Orth guided the Trailblazers to eight top-10 showings in 10 team events, highlighted by a fifth-place finish as hosts of its Utah Tech Trailblazer Invitational in February, and a seventh-place showing at the Western Athletic Conference Championships. In addition, all seven of her players went on to earn 2023-24 Academic All-WAC, and WGCA Academic All-America Scholars honors, while three others were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District team.
During her tenure, Coach Orth has led the Trailblazers to one team victory (2019 CSU-Pueblo Inv'l), a runner-up finish at the 2019 RMAC Championships, and to consecutive fifth-place finishes at the Pacific West Conference Championships in 2017 and 2018.
Coach Orth, who is a Class A member of the LPGA T&CP, has worked in various aspects of the golf industry. She served as assistant golf professional at Sand Hollow Golf Resort in Hurricane, Utah, where she was involved in clubhouse operations and golf instruction.
She also served as a LPGA Assistant Teaching Professional for the City of St. George, and worked with prominent swing instructors Doug Roberts and Mike Smith. In addition, she served two seasons on the coaching staff of the Hurricane (UT) High School girl’s golf program, including a one-year stint as the Tigers’ head coach in the 2010-11 season.
Orth played collegiately at the University of Central Arkansas, where she helped lead the Bears to six-consecutive team tournament wins and a Gulf South Conference championship. She also spent time at BYU-Hawaii, for which she helped develop the Seasiders’ women’s golf program.
Orth graduated with Cum Laude honors in Business Administration from Utah Tech (then Dixie State) in 2007, and completed one year in professional golf management program at Lethbridge (Canada) Community College.
A native of Cranbrook, British Columbia, Coach Orth is the mother of two children – Rowen and Dash.
