Utah Tech came away with a 13
th-place finish at the Arkansas State Red Wolves Classic, which wrapped up play on Tuesday at Sage Meadows Country Club in Jonesboro.
The Trailblazers stood in the middle of the pack in eighth place after opening with a 6-over par 294 on their Monday morning loop. Unfortunately Utah Tech could not keep the momentum going as it combined to shoot an 18-over 306 during the Monday afternoon loop, which dropped the Blazers to t-12
th at plus-24 300.Â

Utah Tech came back on Tuesday with a five-over 293, but could not make up any ground on the field, and wound up with a three-round total of plus-29 893.Â
Louisiana Monroe (278-281-286) was the lone team in the 17-team field to finish in red numbers at minus-19 845 to claim the team title by 20 shots over runner-up Memphis (287-287-291-865; +1).Â
Bolstered by an opening 2-under 70 and a bogey-free final round 3-under 69, sophomore
Maria Purroy Galan (70-77-69) was Utah Tech's top finisher as she joined six others tied for 16
th at even par 216. The sophomore rolled in a team-high 11 total birdies overall, five of which came during in Monday's first round.

Mia Cesarek (75-76-73) finished in a seven-way tie for 56
th at plus-8 224, followed by fellow junior
Samantha Phelan (78-78-74) in t-63
th at plus-10 226, senior
Jenna Anderson (75-78-77) in t-76
th at plus-14 230, and freshman
Gabrielle Roznicki (74-79-79) in 83
rd at plus-16 232 in her first collegiate team event.
The Trailblazers will enjoy a two week break closing the 2025 fall season at the Northern Arizona Clash at Boulder Creek. The two-day, 54-hole event will be played on Oct. 27-28 at Boulder Creek Golf Club in Boulder City, Nev.
