(Arlington, Texas - May 17, 2025) - Utah Tech track & field garnered eight Second Team All-WAC honors at the 2025 Western Athletic Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Maverick Stadium, concluding on Saturday. The Trailblazers finished tied for seventh as a team with 27 points, both of which are Division I-era bests.
Senior
Lexi Larsen scored the first points of the day for Utah Tech in the 1,500 meters. Larsen took fourth at 4:30.16 to snag five points for the Trailblazers.
In the 100-meter hurdles, junior
Ashlyn Parish posted four points by placing fifth with a time of 13.68.
Sophomore
Whitney Christiansen added two points with a seventh-place finish in the 400 meters at 56.53.
In her second final of the day, Larsen placed seventh in the 800 meters at 2:18.74 to tally two points for UT.
The Trailblazers totaled five points in the 400-meter hurdles with two top-eight finishes. Freshman
Ilenia DeHart took sixth at 1:02.59 and junior
Megan Jenkins followed in seventh at 1:02.65.
