A GLANCE AT WEBER STATE
The Wildcats come into Friday's contest with an 0-17 mark on the season.

Weber State is 0-7 in Big Sky action while going 0-6 at home, 0-8 on the road and 0-3 at neutral site.

The Wildcats lead the overall series against the Trailblazers, 12-0 with four meetings over the last four seasons as Division I members with Weber State winning 6-1 in each meeting. The first meeting came in 2007 and have also met in 2008, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2018, 2019 and 2020.

Junior Jessica Hill is leading the Wildcats with a 5-11 overall record and four other Wildcats have two wins apiece.

The regular season wraps up for Weber State at Northern Arizona on April 12 and the Big Sky Championships will be held in Phoenix on April 24-26.

LOOK AT SENIOR LAURA COULOME
Laura Coulome became a Trailblazer in 2023 after transferring from Eastern Arizona College.

In her first season in St. George, Coulome posted a 4-1 singles record, going undefeated at number five singles, 4-0.

Coulome swept three of her singles matches 6-0, 6-0 and went 2-1 in doubles play.

So far this season, Coulome is 5-8 in singles play, including a win at number four singles against Colorado Mesa, and 5-10 in doubles play partnering with three different teammates.

Coulome is majoring in information technology and originally from Rueil-Malmaison, France.

LAST TIME OUT
Utah Tech closed out its four-match Arizona trip with a clean sweep of a pair of dual matches against Mesa CC last Sunday at the MCC Tennis Courts.

The Trailblazers cruised to a 7-0 win in the morning dual, as they combined to drop only four total points in their three doubles matches, and lost just eight total games in claiming all six singles matches in straight sets.

Utah Tech bettered that in its 7-0 sweep in the afternoon dual, losing only two total games in five singles matches (with one win via default), and combined to outscore the Thunderbirds 24-4 in the three doubles matches.

BROOMS AT THE READY
Four of Utah Tech's five wins this season have been 7-0 sweeps.

The Trailblazers earned their first win of the dual season with a thrashing of Colorado Mesa at Trailblazer Tennis Courts in St. George on March 7.

UT picked up its second victory with a sweep of the College of Idaho in Boise, Idaho, on March 9.

The final two sweeps came last Sunday at Mesa Community College.

MEET THE TRAILBLAZERS
The 2024-25 roster consists of eight student-athletes with one senior, two juniors, three sophomores and two freshmen.
