(St George, UT - July 17, 2026) – Utah Tech women's tennis team was named an ITA All-Academic Team and had 7 athletes receive an ITA Scholar Athlete Award, the Intercollegiate Tennis Association announced Monday.
While the Trailblazer tennis team set program records on the court, they worked equally as hard in the classroom with a team GPA of 3.655 during the 2025-26 season.

Maya Inouye,
Nicole Kells, Ilse Elechiguerra,
Raquel Roshak, and
Olivia Bustos were all named 2026 ITA Division I Women's Tennis Scholar-Athletes.
The criteria for earning the title of ITA Scholar-Athlete, the student athlete must maintain a GPA of 3.5 or higher for the academic year, and to be named an All-Academic Team, the team must achieve a GPA of 3.2 or higher for the academic year.
UT was selected as 1 of 231 ITA All-Academic teams in Division I and had 7 of the 1,501 total women's student athletes earn ITA Scholar-Athlete honors.
