Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 (Mesa, Ariz. – Feb. 18, 2024) - The Trailblazer women's tennis team continued their road trip in Arizona on Sunday with a pair of 7-0 victories over Mesa Community College.

A day after winning 6-1 over Arizona Christian, the Trailblazers (3-5) picked up where they left off on Sunday coming away with the doubles point in the first match with an 8-6 win by Rachel Mellor and Mariana Zurita in the first position followed by 8-0 wins at number two and three doubles.

The singles saw the Blazers claim all six points with 6-0, 6-0 sweeps in the third through six positions.

"They were aggressive with their shots, attacking when they had the opportunities," added head coach Eric Pelton.

The second match against the Thunderbirds saw the Blazers make quick work of the doubles before sweeping the singles action led by a 6-0, 6-0 performance by Ana Gutierrez Sampere at number one singles.

The Trailblazers close out the road trip on Monday with an 8:30 a.m. contest against Ottawa University at the Surprise Tennis and Racquet Complex.
