Box Score Dixie State women's tennis lost its match at Weber State 6-1 Saturday morning.

Weber State started the match off by sweeping the three doubles spots to take a 1-0 lead. Juliana Honczaruk and Rachel Mellor came closest to a win, playing to a 6-7 tiebreak loss in No. 1 doubles. The Wildcats would take the doubles point to start off the day.

The Trailblazers fought hard in singles play, having their most successful matches of the season so far.

Ya-Chi Hsu won the No. 2 singles for the Blazers after forcing three sets. Hsu had a hard fought battle to win her set against WSU's Yuuna Ukita. She lost the first set 6-3 but rallied back in sets 2 and 3 winning them 7-5 and 10-6. Hsu would earn the Blazers their first match point of the 2022 season.

Alysha Damron also battled in the No. 6 spot. She lost the first set but after finding herself 6-6 in set two, she forced a tiebreak. Weber would end up winning the tiebreak, but Damron and the Blazers fought hard to earn an elusive second point in the morning.
