Dixie State closes regular season with 9-0 defeat to Weber St.

ST. GEORGE, Utah – The Dixie State women's tennis team fell in its regular season finale on Friday 9-0 to the visiting Weber State Wildcats.

In doubles, the Wildcats took the early lead with a 9-0 win at No. 3. Dixie State was able to take two games at both No. 1 and No. 2.

Weber State swept away all six singles matches, but DSU gave the Wildcats tests at Nos. 2, 3, & 4 respectfully. Karolin Kukaras (Heidelberg, Germany) and Laura Hartle (Salt Lake City, UT/East) each fell 6-4, 6-2. Zenja Draca (Novi Sad, Serbia/Nov Sad (Serbia)) had leads in both of her sets, but ultimately dropped a 7-5, 7-5 match on court three.

Dixie State closed their regular season at 6-9 overall and 4-8 in the spring.
