Smith and Draca Flawless In Red Storm Sweep of Mills College

OAKLAND, Calif. -- Sierra Smith (Denton, TX/John H Guyer) and Zenja Draca (Novi Sad, Serbia/Nov Sad (Serbia)) were flawless, not dropping a single game in their doubles or singles matches to lead the Dixie State University women's tennis team to a 9-0 win over Mills College in Oakland.

The Red Storm improve to 12-9 and conclude the 2013-14 season with the most successful in school history, including the first winning campaign as well.

Coach Eric Pelton said, "The team finished their last match with a strong performance, sweeping all three doubles and singles matches."

Summer Child (Wesley Chapel, FL/Saddlebrook Tennis Academy) and Stormy Dvorak (Laguna Beach, CA/Park City) led off things with an 8-2 victory at No. 1 doubles, Joy Naigeon (Biot, France /Lycee Simone Veil) and Laura Hartle (/) disposed of their opponents 8-1 at No. 2 doubles. The afformentioned Draca and Smith won 8-0 at No. 3 doubles.

DSU swept No. 3, 4, 5, and 6 singles 6-0, 6-0. At No. 1 singles, Dvorak won 6-1, 6-0 and at No. 2 singles, Hartle won 6-2, 6-2.
