MESA, Ariz. -- The Dixie State women's tennis team completed a six match road trip to Arizona with a 5-4 win over California Lutheran to extend their winning streak to five matches.
"The last match of a six match road trip the girls really played tough in one of the best matches of the week," said head coach
Eric Pelton. "They really showed their heart and desire to win today!"

DSU captured No. 2 of the No. 3 doubles which gave them a great boost going into the singles. The doubles play played a major role in the success of the squad this trip and setting the tone for the matches.

Stormy Dvorak (Laguna Beach, CA/Park City) #1 ,
Joy Naigeon (Biot, France /Lycee Simone Veil) #3 , and
Sierra Smith (Denton, TX/John H Guyer) #6 played really well and helped to get the win.

Zenja Draca (Novi Sad, Serbia/Nov Sad (Serbia)) had a heart breaker that ended a couple points short for her losing the third set tie breaker 6-10.

It was a very successful road trip for Dixie State Tennis in terms of wins and experience! The team has grown tremendously this week showing their dedication and drive to fight for every point!
