Women's Tennis Extend Streak to Three Matches with Win Over CSU Stanislaus

GLENDALE, Ariz. -- Sierra Smith (Denton, TX/John H Guyer) and Zenja Draca (Novi Sad, Serbia/Nov Sad (Serbia)) continued to dominate their opponents at the President's Day weekend tournament in Arizona. They helped lead the Dixie State womens tennis match to its third straight win with a win over CSU Stanislaus.

Smith and Draca have not lost a set yet in either singles or doubles during the three matches thus far.

"This was a great team win, said head coach Eric Pelton. "They really came together as a team to pull out another great win."

The difference in the match came at No. 3 and No. 4 singles where Laura Hartle (/) and Zenja Draca (Novi Sad, Serbia/Nov Sad (Serbia)) each won the third set to help DSU clinch the victory.

The Storm continue its road trip tomorrow with a match with #28 Sonoma State on Sunday morning.
