GRAND JUNCTION, CO -- The Dixie State women's tennis team concluded their fall season with a 6-3 win over Colorado Christian today in Grand Junction on the campus of Colorado Mesa Unviersity.
The Red Storm started strong by winning all three doubles matches to take the early 3-0 lead.
In singles, victories came from Joy Naigeon (Biot, France /Lycee Simone Veil), Sierra Smith (Denton, TX/John H Guyer) and Lindsey Jones (Fruitland, ID/Fruitland).
"We had another great match today," said head coach Eric Pelton. "Joy led us by winning all of her matches over the weekend and we really came together and played great tennis today."
Dixie State finished the fall campaign with a 2-2 record. They will not play again until their home opener in Saint George on Feb. 7th when they host Southern Utah University at 3:30pm.
