WTEN: Red Storm drop match to SUU

CEDAR CITY, UT-Playing through some crazy winds, Dixie State College and Souhtern Utah University shortened their scheduled match to just singles matches. SUU defeated Dixie State 5-1.

The Red Storm's lone win came in #6 singles when Sarah Hughes (Bountiful, UT/Woods Cross HS) defeated Afton Staheli 6-2, 6-3.

3. Olia Tatarchenko (SUU) def. Lindsay Snow (Saint George, UT/Pine View) (DSC) 6-1, 6-0
4. Kirrily Burden (SUU) def. Hillary Wright (/) (DSC) 6-0, 6-0
5. Danica Ingwaldson (SUU) def. Kelly Terry (DSC) 6-1, 6-0
6. Sarah Hughes (Bountiful, UT/Woods Cross HS) (DSC) def. Afton Staheli (SUU) 6-2, 6-3

DSC will now prepare to for the PacWest Championships next week in Laie, HI on the campus of BYU-Hawaii.
