WTEN: Red Storm drop match to Academy of Art

SAINT GEORGE, UT- For the second time this week the Dixie State College women's tennis team played a home match at Bell Courts on the DSC campus. #45 Academy of Art would prevail 8-1.

The Red Storm battled in the doubles matches and picked a point in the #3 doubles. Adrienne Davis (Salt Lake City, UT/Olympus) and Lauren Tarver (Wrightwood. CA/Serrano) defeated Paola Correa Fe and Ceciia Hedin 8-4. In the #1 Doubles the Red Storm lost 8-4 when Sarah Hughes (Bountiful, UT/Woods Cross HS) and Hillary Wright (/) fell just short.

Academy of Art with its depth and experience seemed too much for the Red Storm(1-5) to handle and dominated nearly all the singles matches.
