WTEN: Southern Utah Blanks Red Storm

SAINT GEORGE, UT- Southern Utah University blanked the Dixie State College women's tennis team 9-0 today in the first ever match held on Bell Courts on the campus of Dixie State College.

With the courts just remodeled this past spring, the Red Storm were able to bring their home tennis matches back to campus. Today was the first match.

Southern Utah with its depth and experience seemed too much for the Red Storm(1-4) to handle and dominated nearly every match played.

The one bright spot for the Red Storm was the doubles play, forcing Southern Utah deep into the games.

Dixie State will host two other home matches this week. Friday the Red Storm welcome the Academy of Art at 3:00 PM and Saturday they host Mesa State College at 10:00 AM.
