SAINT GEORGE, UT-The Dixie State College women's team picked a win against PacWest conference opponent Academy of Art University 6-3.

The Red Storm won three singles matches and swept the doubles matches. In the #3 singles match Ashley Lafeen (Murray. UT/Murray HS) defeated Paola Fe 6-1, 6-3. In #5 singles match Courtney Kezerian (Orem, UT/Orem) defetead Ana Richie 7-5, 6-3 and in the #6 singles match Lauren Tarver (Wrightwood. CA/Serrano) defeated Cecia Hedin 6-1, 6-0.

"It was a great match, the girls really stepped up big and pulled out all three doubles matches, this is a huge boost to into the singles matches up 3-0," said Red Storm head coach Eric Pelton.

The Red Storm are scheduled to play Mesa State College on Saturday morning at 10:00AM at the Green Valley Spa.
