(Arlington, Texas - Jan. 20, 2026) - Senior forward Ethan Potter was named the WAC Player of the Week for the third time on Tuesday afternoon, the conference office announced.

Potter is coming off his seventh 20-point performance of the season in a win on Saturday night over Tarleton State notching a team-best 23 points on 9-of-11 shooting from the field and grabbed seven rebounds and an assist.

Earlier in the week, the Utah Valley transfer tied for the team lead with 16 points in a close loss to UT Arlington and registered his third double-double of the season grabbing 11 rebounds and added two steals, a block and an assist.

He shot 66.7 percent (16-24) from the field and 77.8 percent (7-9) from the free throw line and currently leads the WAC in rebounds per game (7.6) & field goal percentage (.595) and is third in points per game (16.4).

This is Potter's third weekly WAC award of the season after also being named WAC Player of the Week on Dec. 1 & Dec. 22.

The Trailblazers are back in action on Wednesday night at California Baptist (13-6, 3-3 WAC) at 8 p.m. MT at the Fowler Events Center.
