(Ogden, Utah - Jan. 10, 2026) – Utah Tech track & field tallied 17 top-eight finishes on the final day of the Weber State Indoor Invitational on Saturday at the Stromberg Center Indoor Track. The Trailblazers also set three all-time program top 10 marks on Saturday. 

In the 3,000 meters, junior Averie Perriton came in seventh at 10:25.74. That time ties for third all-time in Utah Tech history.

The Trailblazers claimed over half of the top eight in the 400 meters. Freshman Scarlett Brock finished second with a time of 58.17 in her first collegiate meet. Fellow freshman Hannah Bingham followed in third at 58.52, while senior Megan Jenkins came in fourth at 58.69. Freshman Gracie Meeds placed sixth at 1:00.06, and sophomore Lily Sampson rounded out the top eight at 1:00.48. 

Jenkins also came in sixth in the 55-meter hurdles at 8.26. 

In the 55-meter dash, juniors Jesse Fowler and Mille Roesaeg finished seventh and eighth with times of 7.31 and 7.32, respectively. 

Fowler also placed third in the 200 meters at 26.74. Junior Kooper Dennison followed in fourth at 26.77, Roesaeg took seventh at 27.03 and junior Reyes Hernandez finished eighth at 27.05.

Junior Whitney Christiansen took eighth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:20.52.

In the mile, junior Makayla Pitcher ran a 5:13.00 flat, placing ninth with a time that ranks seventh all-time in UT history.

The Trailblazers rounded out the meet with the 4x400-meter relay, placing three UT relays in the top eight. Brock, Christiansen, Bingham and Jenkins came in second with a time of 3:56.00, which ranks seventh all-time in program history. Freshman Natalie Roberts, senior Savannah Rydalch, senior Kelly Denninghoff and freshman Zoie Adcox teamed up for a fifth-place finish at 4:10.72. In eighth place were Sampson, sophomore Ilenia DeHart, Dennison and Meeds at 4:14.43.
