WTEN - Coulome and Bustos Named to 2024-25 CSC Academic All-District Team

Utah Tech women's tennis senior Laura Coulome and sophomore Olivia Bustos were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2024-25 Academic All-District Women's Tennis Team, the organization announced on Tuesday afternoon.

Coulome logged a 3.89 GPA while majoring in information technology. The transfer from Eastern Arizona College in her second year in St. George tallied a 5-9 record in singles play with a 4-12 mark in doubles action.

In her second year at UT, Bustos notched a 3.83 GPA while majoring in criminal justice. The Doral, Florida, native posted a 5-8 mark in doubles play and a 1-9 record in singles action. Bustos was also an Academic All-WAC selection last season.

The Academic All-District Women's Tennis teams, selected by CSC, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes women's tennis honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
