Utah Tech wrapped up the 2025-26 season with a fifth place finish at the 2026, and final, Western Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championships, which completed play on Wednesday at The Clubs of Stonebridge Ranch Hills Course in McKinney, Texas.

The Trailblazers (311-311-298) saved their best for last as they fired the third-lowest team score in the field with a combined 10-over par 298. That effort helped move Utah Tech up one spot on the leaderboard and finish with a three-day score of plus-56 920.

Tarleton State (306-289-294-889; +25) managed to build on its 36-hole lead to clinch the final WAC conference title. The Texans finished 11 strokes clear of runner-up Abilene Christian (298-297-305-900; +36), and 15 shots ahead of third place UT Arlington (304-303-297-904; +40). 

California Baptist (311-301-300-912; +48) bested Utah Tech by eight strokes for fourth place, while Utah Valley (298-311-313-922; +58) and Southern Utah (312-320-327-959; +95) finished in sixth and seventh, respectively. 

Utah Tech wound up with four players in the top-20 on the player leaderboard, led by senior Jane Olson (74-78-77) who put a bow on her stellar collegiate career with a final round 5-over 77 to finish in a tie for 14^th at plus-13 229. For Olson, it was her second top-15 finish of the season and her fourth top-15 of her four-year career.

Juniors Mia Cesarek (78-77-75) and Samantha Phelan (78-79-73) finished one shot back of Olson's pace as duo tied for 16^th at plus-14 230. Cesarek carded three birdies on her front nine on Wednesday on her way to a 3-over 75. 

Meanwhile Phelan tied for the Blazers' low round of the tourney as she penciled in three birdies and 11 pars en route to a 1-over 73.

Sophomore Maria Purroy Galan (81-77-73) also posted a final round 73 thanks to birdieing three of her final 10 holes. That effort helped her move up five spots into a tie for 18^th at plus-15 231.

In addition, redshirt freshman Gabrielle Roznicki (83-79-80) climbed up two spots into solo 31^st place at plus-26 242.

Utah Tech finished its sixth season of NCAA Division I play with six top-6 showings in 10 team events, highlighted by a runner-up finish at the Utah Fall Intercollegiate (9/14-15/25).
