RETURNERS
Utah Tech brings back 30 returners this season with eight seniors, nine juniors, 12 sophomores and one redshirt freshman. The Trailblazers return nine second-team All-WAC honorees from last indoor season with seniors

NEWCOMERS
The Trailblazers welcome 10 newcomers to the team this season including four distance runners, three sprinters and two transfer distance runners from Southern Utah.
INDOOR SEASON
UT is set to compete at three meets during the regular season, including the Snake River Open. On Jan. 31, the Trailblazers will travel to Flagstaff, Arizona, for the Northern Arizona-hosted Ron Mann Classic. Utah Tech returns to Pocatello, Idaho, on Feb. 14-15 for the ISU-hosted Mountain State Games. The WAC Indoor Championships will be hosted at The Podium on Feb. 28 and March 1 in Spokane, Washington. The NCAA Indoor Championships will take place on March 14-15 at the Virginia Beach Sports Center in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
HEAD COACH DERRICK ATKINS
Head coach
Derrick Atkins enters his fifth season at the helm of Utah Tech track & Field in 2025.
With his guidance, Utah Tech has set school records in 17 indoor events and 18 outdoor events, with 17 of those records achieved during the 2024 seasons.
UT has also excelled academically under Atkins with 10 Trailblazers earning academic all-WAC honors during the 2024 indoor season and 25 Trailblazers earning the same honor during the 2024 outdoor season.
