Creating Chances:
Utah Tech created tons of chances against Sacramento State on Thursday, out-shooting the Hornets 21-7 and holding a 9-3 advantage in shots on target. The team came close to finding an equalizer after Damian Arguello drew a penalty in the 57th minute but the Trailblazers were unable to convert, and Abigay Gomez would draw a red card in the 70th minute that led to increased pressure from the Utah Tech attack. Despite the opportunities, Sacramento State's goalkeeper would finish the game with eight saves to keep UT off the board. The Trailblazers are currently averaging 16 shots per game this season while allowing just 10.7.
