(St. George - Nov. 25, 2025) – Utah Tech men's soccer landed six Trailblazers on the 2025 College Sports Communicators Division I Academic All-District Men's Soccer Team, as announced on Tuesday.
Representing UT were seniors
Jerod Allen and
Anthony Godinez, junior
Landon Huebner and sophomores
Tanner Dutra,
Dunes Nielsen and
Taylor Rogers.
To be eligible for Academic All-District honors, each student-athlete needed to maintain at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and be at least a sophomore academically and athletically. They also had to compete in 90 percent or start at least 66 percent of the team's matches played.
Allen (Recreation and Sports Management, 3.96) started 15 matches and played 883 minutes. The midfielder totaled two assists, 11 shots and four shots on goal this season.
A First Team All-WAC selection, Godinez (Exercise Science, 3.75) started in 16 games and racked up 1,383 minutes on the pitch. The defender helped the Trailblazers to four shutouts and scored UT's first goal in its 2-1 upset win at No. 25 California Baptist. He was also named WAC Defender of the Week on Oct. 7 after helping Utah Tech blank UNLV in the team's conference opener.
Huebner (Individualized Studies, 3.84) appeared in 16 contests, logging 760 minutes. In his first season in St. George, the midfielder tallied nine shots and four shots on goal.
Dutra (Management, 3.89) started all 17 matches this season, playing over 1,500 minutes. The defender scored two goals, including the equalizer in UT's season-opening draw with Gonzaga on Aug. 21. He also helped the Trailblazers to four clean sheets, while adding an assist, nine shots and six shots on goal.
A Second Team All-WAC honoree, Nielsen (Biology, 3.84) started 13 of his 14 appearances, scoring five goals and logging an assist. The midfielder led the Trailblazers in shots (30) and shots on goal (17) this season.
Rogers (Management, 3.91) was a First Team All-WAC selection, starting all 17 matches and playing 1,272 minutes. The forward led Utah Tech with seven goals and added five assists for a team-leading 19 points. He tallied 23 shots and 13 shots on goal on his way to a team-leading two game-winning goals.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Men's Soccer Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
