Utah Tech will wrap up its third NCAA Division-I season at the 2023 Western Athletic Conference Women's Golf Championships. The three-day, 54-hole event will be played this Sunday-through-Tuesday at the par-72, 6,203-yard Semiahmoo Country Club in Blaine, Wash.
The five-player lineup for the Trailblazers will feature senior Abby Livingston, junior Grace Williams, and freshmen Brooke GelinasCorinne Lillywhite and Jane Olson.

ELIGIBLE FOR POSTSEASON PLAY: Utah Tech will be making its third appearance at the WAC Women's Golf Championships, though it will be the first time the Trailblazers will have a chance to play for a team conference title.
This past June, the WAC announced that D-I transitioning members Utah Tech and Tarleton would be allowed to participate in all conference championships beginning this 2022-23 competition season.

HEAD COACH LINDSEY STUCKI: Lindsey Stucki (Utah Tech, 2007) is in her seventh season as head coach of the Trailblazer women's golf program. Last season, Stucki led the Trailblazers to two top-10 team finishes in their second NCAA Division I campaign.
During her tenure as UT head coach, Stucki has guided the Blazers to a runner-up Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference team finish in 2019, and to consecutive fifth-place finishes at the Pacific West Conference Championships in 2017 and 2018.
Prior to her arrival at Utah Tech, she served as assistant golf professional at the Sand Hollow Golf Resort, and as an LPGA assistant teaching professional for the City of St. George. Stucki also spent two seasons on the coaching staff of the Hurricane High School girl's golf program, including a one-year stint as the Tigers' head coach in the 2010-11 season.
Stucki, who is a Class A member of the LPGA T&CP, played collegiately at the University of Central Arkansas, where she helped lead the Bears to six-consecutive team tournament wins and a Gulf South Conference championship.
Coach Stucki is assisted this season by first-year assistant coach Gina Higbee

LAST TIME OUT: Utah Tech wrapped up the 2022-23 regular season with a fifth place finish at the 2023 Montana State Bobcat Desert Classic, which was played this past April 9-11, at The Golf Club at Estrella in Goodyear, Ariz.
The Trailblazers, who managed to stay in the top-five on team leaderboard throughout the tournament, opened with a 12-over 300 to stand fifth after their first loop. Utah Tech vaulted two spots to third place after firing a school record tying 7-over 295, before falling back to fifth following a 19-over 307 to finish with a three-day school record total of plus-38 902. UT's 36-hole score of 295 also broke the school record.
Four Trailblazers finished in the top-30 on the player leaderboard, led by Olson, who book-ended a pair of 4-over 76s with an even par 72 on Monday to place t-14th at plus-8 224.
Gelinas wound up one shot back of Olson at plus-9 225, this after she also carded a pair of 76s around a second-round 1-over 73 to finish t-16th.
Meanwhile, Williams (74-75-80) finished in a three-way tie for 26th at plus-13 229, followed by Lillywhite (74-75-81), who was in the top-5 midway through her second round before joining three others tied for 29th at plus-14 230, and Livingston (80-80-75-235; +19) placed 41st-overall.
