Utah Tech women's golf team placed five student-athletes on to the 2025-26 Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-America Scholars Team. 

Senior Jane Olson (3.90 GPA), juniors Mia Cesarek (3.89 GPA) and Samantha Phelan (3.98 GPA), sophomore Maria Purroy Galan (3.52), and redshirt freshman Gabrielle Roznicki (3.79) all earned their way onto the annual prestigious list.  

As a team, the Trailblazers also combined to post the highest grade point average (3.83) in the entire Utah Tech athletics department this past academic year, with all eight student-athletes in the program carrying at least a 3.40 overall GPA. 

Along with the WGCA season honors, all five student-athletes, along with freshman Coryn Tardif (3.82 GPA), collected Academic All-Western Athletic Conference recognition. In addition, Olson, Cesarek, Phelan and Purroy Galan were voted onto the 2025-26 College Sports Communicators Division I Academic All-District® At-Large Team.

In all, 1,586 women's collegiate golfers from nearly 500 programs across the country were recognized for their academic achievements by the WGCA. To be eligible to become a WGCA All-American Scholar, a student-athlete must maintain a 3.50 cumulative GPA and participate in at least 50 percent of her team's events.
