Utah Tech finished in the middle of the pack in t-eighth place at the Southern Utah Pizza Hut Lady Thunderbird Invitational, which was played on Thursday-through-Saturday at Sunbrook Golf Course. 
 
The Trailblazers got off to a great start in round one on Thursday as they combined to fire a 9-over 297 to stand tied for fifth. Utah Tech followed that up with a 15-over 303 on its second loop on Friday, and an 18-over 306 on Saturday to tie Northern Colorado (311-297-298) at plus-42 906.
 
Wyoming (290-302-293) was the clubhouse leader after 36-holes and held a one-shot lead over California Baptist (296-297-292) heading into Saturday's final round. However CBU was one-shot better than the Cowgirls on the final day as the two teams tied for team honors at plus-21 885. 
Three Trailblazers wound up in the top-25 on the player leaderboard, led by senior 
Abby Livingston who finished in a five-way tie for 14
th at plus-7 223. Livingston penciled in three birdies as part of an opening even par 72, which was followed by a 4-over 76 and a final round 3-over 75.
 
Junior 
Grace Williams and freshman 
Jane Olson joined three others tied for 25
th at plus-11 227. Williams has the putter working on Thursday as she rolled a career-high seven birdies, including five-straight birdies on the Blackrock nine, on her way to an opening 72. Williams went on to post a 6-over 78 on Friday and a 5-over 77 on Saturday.
 
Meanwhile Olson followed an opening 75 with a 1-over 73 on Friday in a round that featured one birdie and 15 pars, though she closed with a 7-over 79 on Saturday.
 
Freshman 
Brooke Gelinas (78-76-75) followed in t-33
rd place at plus-13 229 and freshman 
Corinne Lillywhite (80-80-80) closed out UT's scoring in t-76
th at plus-24 240.
 
Two other Trailblazers played as individuals, with freshman 
Aubree Johnson (78-86-82) placing 87th at plus-30 246, and freshman 
Salina Lui (94-85-79) wound up 94
th at plus-42-258. 
 
Utah Tech will play its final two regular season events in Arizona, beginning with the Northern Arizona Red Rock Invite next weekend at Oakcreek Country Club in Sedona.
