(Arlington, Texas – Nov. 15, 2023) - Utah Tech freshman outside hitter Adee Butler was named to the WAC All-Freshman Team, the conference announced on Wednesday.

A native of Pocatello, Idaho, Butler appeared in 19 matches this season for the Trailblazers while making five starts. 

Bulter ranked fifth on the team with 110 kills averaging 2.16 kills per set as she played in 51 sets.

Finishing the season with a season-high 14 kills in each of Utah Tech's final two matches of the season at Seattle and Utah Valley, Butler finished with five double digit kill performances and added 46 digs, seven blocks, seven service aces and two assists in 2023.

In addition to Butler, Hannah Howard, Taylor Snow, Kennedi Knudsen, Mya Laufiso, Sydney Reese and Marley Roe were among 27 student-athletes across the WAC who received votes for All-WAC honors, but did not have enough votes to be named to the first or second team.

Utah Tech closed out the season with a 9-17 overall record and a 5-11 mark in the WAC to finish ninth in the conference.
