Traiblazer Women's Basketball Announces 2021-22 season schedule

Dixie State women's basketball announces the 2021-22 schedule.

"We are hopeful our non-conference schedule prepares us for the new tough WAC schedule," head coach JD Gustin said. "The highlight of the preseason is taking on PAC-12 opponent Oregon. Our players are excited to get back to work and compete this season."

The Trailblazers are set to open the season with a home game on Nov. 9th against Life Pacific. DSU will then hit the road to take on Portland State and the University of Oregon. DSU will also host Antelope Valley, University of Missouri Kansas-City, Westcliff and Air Force in the pre-season.

The Trailblazers will have a pair of in-state rivalry matchups in the preseason. First, DSU will head to Utah State to take on the Aggies, Dec. 1 and later host Southern Utah Dec. 21.

Western Athletic Conference action will start Dec. 30th on the road at Tarleton State followed by a game at Abilene Christian. The first home game of WAC action will be Jan. 8 against Utah Valley before California Baptist on Jan. 13 and Seattle U Jan. 15.

The season will come to an end March 2 and 5 with games against Abilene Christian and Grand Canyon.
