Utah Tech head women's basketball coach JD Gustin announced on Friday the signing of Nevada transfer guard Kaylee Borden to a financial aid agreement ahead of the upcoming 2025-26 season.

"Keke" Borden played for the Wolfpack program for three seasons and has one year of eligibility remaining.

"I like the experience and determination Keke brings to our team," Coach Gustin said. "She seems extremely motivated to finish her career strong and I anticipate that she'll have a great year for us."

Borden (5-6; Anadarko, Okla.), who redshirted at Nevada this past season, was a solid contributor off the bench for the Wolfpack over her first three years in Reno. She appeared in 71 career games with one start and averaged 3.5 points on 36.1 percent shooting, including a 38.3 percent clip (36-of-94) from the perimeter, along with 1.5 rebounds per game.

Borden played in all 32 games for Nevada as a junior in the 2023-24 campaign, during which she averaged 4.3 points, 1.8 rebounds and 17.9 minutes played that season. She found the scoring column in 27 of those outing, highlighted by a season-high 11 points in a road loss at Weber State (12/6/23).

In all, Borden scored in double figures eight times and notched her collegiate career high of 13 points twice (vs. Bowling Green, 3/20/21; at San Jose State, 1/26/23).

Borden prepped at Anadarko High School in Oklahoma, where she was a three-sport athlete in basketball, cross country and track & field. She helped lead the Warriors to three-straight basketball conference championships (2018-20) and an Oklahoma 4A state title in 2019. Borden also garnered honorable mention all-state recognition and was a two-time Oklahoma Vype 100 pick.

Borden joins a Trailblazer signing class that includes 2024 fall signee Merceius Mili from Skyridge (UT) High School, and 2025 spring signees Rose Boisnel from France, and Annalyse Shimada from Cedar (UT) HS.
