Trailblazer Women's Basketball Announces 2025-26 Schedule

School record 18 home games highlights the Blazers' sixth D-I season

Fans of Utah Tech women's basketball will have plenty of opportunity to see the Trailblazers in action locally as head women's basketball coach JD Gustin unveiled his team's complete 2025-26 schedule on Wednesday. 

Utah Tech's 2025-26 slate features an NCAA-era program record 18 home games, while 23 of the Trailblazers' 29 contests this upcoming season overall will be played in "The Beehive State."

The Blazers will play 12 of their first 15 games inside the Burns Arena, beginning with a three-game homestand that starts with the season opener vs. Westcliff on Monday, Nov. 3. Utah Tech will also welcome in future Big Sky Conference opponent Northern Arizona to St. George five days later on Saturday, Nov. 8, before wrapping up the homestand with Omaha on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

Utah Tech will don its road jerseys for the first time on Saturday, Nov. 15, when the team makes the trip north on Interstate 15 to Ogden to square off against in-state rival and future Big Sky foe Weber State.

The Trailblazers return to the Burns Arena play host to another future Big Sky opponent in Portland State (11/22), before crossing state lines for the first time for their first-ever meeting against Big 12 member Arizona State (11/25).

Following its trip to Tempe, Utah Tech will close out its non-conference schedule with five-straight home games, starting with a date against former RMAC rival Westminster College (11/29) over the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Utah Tech will also play host to McNeese State (12/2), former WAC opponent New Mexico State (12/6), and UC Santa Barbara (12/13), before wrapping up the non-conference portion of the schedule against Chicago State on Wednesday, Dec. 17.

The Trailblazers kick off their sixth, and final, Western Athletic Conference season with the first of two league games played at in-state rival Southern Utah (12/29 and 1/24). 

Utah Tech will ring in 2026 with a New Year's Day home WAC tilt against Abilene Christian, which will be followed by the first of two home games vs. California Baptist (1/8 and 1/22), and an in-state "Old Hammer Rivalry" home showdown vs. Utah Valley (1/10).

The Blazers will make the first of three trips to Texas one week later, where they will play the first of two road games at UT Arlington (1/15 and 2/5), followed by a date at Tarleton State (1/17). 

Utah Tech returns to its home state for four games to close out January, starting with its second games against CBU and at SUU, before again hosting ACU (1/29) and Tarleton (1/31). 

The Trailblazers embarks on their longest road trip of the year one week later, which starts with their second game at UT Arlington, followed one week later with the first of two games played at Utah Valley (2/12 and 3/7), and a trip to SoCal to face CBU (2/14).

Utah Tech will play three of its final five regular season games at home, starting with a weekend set against both UTA (2/19) and Tarleton. Then after their final trip to "The Lone Star State" to play at ACU (2/16), the Blazers host SUU for Senior Day on Feb. 28, and will close out the regular season at UVU. 

The 2026 WAC Women's Basketball Tournament will be held once again at the Orleans Arena in Las Vegas on March 11-14.

Official start times will be announced at a later date. Season and single ticket information for the 2025-26 Trailblazer women's basketball season will be announced in the coming weeks.
