Trailblazer Men’s Soccer Releases Full 2026 Schedule

(St George, UT - July 29, 2026) – Utah Tech Men's Soccer officially releases its full schedule for the 2026 season. UT will play 18 official matches, including ten home games at Greater Zion Stadium.

Before the 2026 season officially gets underway, Utah Tech will play two exhibition matches, both at Greater Zion Stadium. Fans will have two chances to get a preview of Trailblazer Men's Soccer before the regular season begins, first on Saturday, Aug 8 versus Salt Lake CC, followed by Mohave CC coming to St George Saturday, Aug 15. Both matches are set for 8 p.m. MT starts.

Utah Tech's season opener will come on the road in California against Cal State Bakersfield on Thursday, Aug 20. This will be the fifth consecutive year these two programs will take the pitch against each other, with the all-time series knotted at two wins a side. Last season, the Trailblazers rode a three goal second half performance to win 3-0. Head Coach Johnny Broadhead will look to lead the team to its second season opening victory in its Division I era under his management.

UT will return home for their 2026 home opener on Sunday, Aug 23 at 8 p.m. MT as they welcome Pacific University to St George. The Trailblazers will look to avenge last season's defeat in Stockton, Ca as the Tigers came away victorious, 2-1.

The Trailblazers will close the non-conference portion of their schedule with a trio of home games, beginning Sept 13 versus UC San Diego. Utah Tech will host St Thomas on Sept 18 before closing the homestand with an "Old Hammer Rivalry" match versus Utah Valley on Monday, Sept 21 at 7 p.m. MT. Last season's match ended in a 2-2 draw in Orem, and the Wolverines and Trailblazers will face off as non-conference opponents for the first time.

Trailblazer Men's Soccer will begin its inaugural season in the Mountain West Conference with a road match in Colorado Springs, Co as they take on the Air Force Academy on Sept 26.

Utah Tech will then return home for their Mountain West Conference home opener against familiar foe, Grand Canyon, on Wednesday, Sept 30 at 7 p.m. MT. This match is a part of a four match homestand, where UT will welcome UC Davis, UNLV, and San Jose State to Greater Zion Stadium.

UT will host its final home match of the regular season on Wednesday, Oct 28 versus Air Force at 7 p.m. MT.

The Trailblazers will conclude the regular season with four of their last five matches away from home, wrapping up with a road match just down I-15 at UNLV on Nov 6.

The Mountain West Conference Tournament will take place Nov 8-14, with a location yet to be announced.
