(Arlington, Texas - March 23, 2026) - Sophomore infielder Kinley Pappas was named the WAC Player of the Week for the second time this season on Monday, the conference office announced.

In four games on the week, Pappas hit .818 from the plate going 9-for-11 from the dish with six extra-base knocks.

Smacking three doubles, two triples and a home run, Pappas scored five runs, drove in seven RBIs and swiped a pair of bases.

In addition, the Eugene, Ore., native also drew a walk and was hit by a pitch to reach base in 11 of 13 at-bats.

Pappas recorded multiple hits in all four games with two hits in three games and a three-hit performance in a 8-6 win in game one of a doubleheader at Utah Valley on Saturday.

In game two of the doubleheader at Utah Valley on Saturday, Pappas scored three runs, added two RBIs and hit a triple and home run in a tough 7-6 loss.

On the season, Pappas leads the WAC in batting average (.469), doubles (13), hits (45), on-base percentage (.514), slugging percentage (.896) and total bases (86).
