How It Happened
The Trailblazers got the scoring started early in the contest scoring a pair in the first getting a leadoff single by Lakaiya-Braessia Kahahawai-Kekona.

The senior outfielder swiped her eighth stolen base of the year to move to second, advanced to third on a groundout and came home to score on an RBI double to left center by Pappas.

After Pappas stole third, Giroux drove in Pappas with a sacrifice fly for her 12th RBI of the season.

The Rebels responded with a four-run bottom of the frame tallying a pair of two-run RBI singles.

UNLV added a run in the third on a solo home run and tacked on five more runs in the fourth to jump ahead, 10-2 through four.

Down to their final out, Pappas kept the Trailblazers alive in the fifth with an RBI triple to right-center, but the Rebels closed out the game in run-rule fashion with an RBI double by pinch-hitter Bri Williams.
