A school-record tying 18 home games, along with match-ups against three NCAA Tournament participants, highlight Utah Tech's 2026-27 women's basketball schedule, which was officially unveiled on Wednesday.

Under the direction of first-year head coach Adam Wardenburg, the Trailblazers will play eight of their 12 non-conference games inside the Burns Arena, beginning with a three-game homestand that starts with the season opener vs. Life Pacific on Monday, Nov. 2 at 11 a.m. (MT).

Utah Tech will also welcome long-time rival, and 2026 NCAA tourney team California Baptist, to St. George four days later on Friday, Nov. 6, before wrapping up the homestand vs. Nelson (AZ) University on Wednesday, Nov. 11.

From there the Trailblazers begin the road portion of their season slate on Sunday, Nov. 13, with a date at new PAC-12 member Boise State. In fact, Utah Tech will play three-straight away from home, including a pair of SoCal road games at CSU Bakersfield (11/18) and UC Santa Barbara (11/20).

Utah Tech returns home for a Thanksgiving Eve match-up vs. San Diego (11/25), and will wrap up the first month of the season by hosting Park University (11/30).

The Blazers will make their Big Sky Conference debut the following week when the team heads to Ogden to square off against in-state foe Weber State on Thursday, Dec. 3. Utah Tech then ventures further north on Interstate 15 to Pocatello for a Saturday conference tilt at Idaho State on Dec. 5.

Utah Tech will play five of its next six games in the Burns Arena, starting with a non-conference match-up vs. Houston Christian (12/12). Then after a quick road trip to Boulder to play at Big 12 power and 2026 NCAA tourney participant Colorado (12/15), the Blazers return home to host Cal Poly (12/19) and La Sierra (12/21) before the Christmas holiday break.

The Trailblazers begin the home portion of their Big Sky debut schedule against defending conference tournament champion Idaho on New Year's Eve, followed by a Saturday showdown vs. Eastern Washington (1/2).

Following road games at Portland State (1/7) and Northern Colorado (1/9), Utah Tech returns home to play host to Northern Arizona (1/14). Utah Tech will then renew its rivalry with Southern Utah in Cedar City (1/16) before making its first-ever trip to Missoula to face Montana (1/18).

Utah Tech puts a bow on January with a three-game homestand, during which the Blazers will host Montana State (1/25), Idaho State (1/28) and Weber State (1/30).

Utah Tech will kick off February with its final long road swing of the season, which begins at Eastern Washington on Feb. 4, followed by return games at both Idaho (2/6) and NAU (2/11).

Utah Tech returns home for a four-game homestand, starting with an in-state showdown vs. SUU on Saturday, Feb. 13. The Trailblazers will also play host to Northern Colorado (2/18) and Portland State (2/20), before wrapping up their 2026-27 home slate with a Senior Day match-up vs. Montana (2/22).

After their home finale, the Blazers will enjoy a rare seven-day break before closing the regular season at Montana State on Monday, March 1.

The 2027 "Starch Madness" Big Sky Women's Basketball Tournament will be held March 5-10 at Idaho Central Arena in Boise, Idaho, with all 11 full-time conference members participating.

Official start times will be announced at a later date. Season and single ticket information for the 2026-27 Trailblazer women's basketball season will be announced in the coming weeks.
