(Pocatello, Idaho – Feb. 10, 2024) - The Trailblazer track and field team wrapped up the Mountain State Games on Saturday hosted by Idaho State at the ICCU Dome.
Highlighted by a first-place finish and record-breaking performance by
Rashawnna Gibson in the 60 meters, the junior posted a time of 7.64 in the finals to set her second program record of the meet after setting the new mark in the 200 meters on Friday.
Sophomore
Ashlyn Parish finished second in the finals of the 60 meters while freshman
Whitney Christiansen secured a third-place finish in the 400 meter finals.
Gibson came in fifth in the 200 meter finals and
Addi Wyatt placed fifth in the 800 meters.
Finally, the 4x400 meter relay team ofÂ

Savannah Eatough finished fourth in a time of 3:54.90, the second-fastest time in the event in program history.
