Utah Tech recorded several season bests marks on the final day of competition at the 2024 Trailblazer Invitational on Saturday at the HPC Pool.

The Blazers wound up placing seventh overall at the meet with 119.50 points. UC San Diego won the 11-team meet with 763.50 points, while UC Santa Barbara scored 594 points to claim runner-up honors.Â

Sophomore
Cera Mallory closed out her solid weekend of competition with a fifth-place finish in the 1,650-yard freestyle with a time of 17:21.26, which was the ninth-fastest time in program history.Â

Fellow sophomore
Mary Sims Cross followed that with a third-place finish in the 20 back "B" final with a season-best time of 2:02.89, while freshman
Yara Olsen took second in 200 breast "B" final with a season-best 2:19.28.Â

In addition, freshman
Gabby Henry won the 200 fly "C" final with season-best 2:05.87, and freshman
Kam Swanson touched the wall second in the "D" final with a season-best 2:06.06.Â

The Trailblazers then closed the night with a 12
th-place showing in the 400 free relay with a time of 3:28.20, which wound up as the seventh-fastest 400 relay mark in school history.
Utah Tech returns to action this upcoming Dec. 6-7, with a two-day dual meet at Northern Arizona.Â
