Utah Tech women's golf wrapped up its 2024 fall schedule with a 14th-place team finish at the Hawai'i Rainbow Wahine Invitational, which wrapped up play on Wednesday at Kapolei Golf Club on the Island of Oahu.

The Trailblazers got off to a tough start to open tourney play on Monday as they combined to card a 20-over par 308 to stand in 15th-place on the team leaderboard. Utah Tech managed to pare 13 strokes off its score on the team's second loop on Tuesday and in the process moved up one spot to 14th-place after a 7-over 295.

However the Blazers could not make up any more ground on the field, wrapping up their trip with a 4-over 292 to finish at plus-31 895 overall.

Colorado State (276-288-277-841; -23) led virtually wire-to-wire to claim the team title, three strokes clear of runner-up Kansas State (287-277-280-844; -20), while fellow WAC member Grand Canyon (291-281-283-855; -9) and UC Irvine (284-285-286-855; -9) wound up tied for third place.

Junior Jenna Anderson and Mia Cesarek paced the Trailblazer effort as the duo both tied for 39th-overall at plus-5 221.

Anderson (74-76-71) managed to roll six total birdies on the week, two in each round, including a pair of birdies and 14 pars as part of a 1-under 71 on Wednesday. Anderson's final round 71 tied for the team's low round of the event.

Cesarek tallied eight total birdies over the three days, four of which came in Monday's opening round, during which she carded a 2-over 74. The sophomore matched her 74 in Tuesday's second round, before penciling in two birdies and 13 pars as part of a 1-over 73.

Fellow sophomore Samantha Phelan finished a shot back of her teammates in a four-way tie for 42nd at plus-6 222. Phelan, who rolled in a team-high 10 total birdies during the event, bounced back from an opening 7-over 79 with four birdies and 13 pars on her way to 71 on Tuesday. The sophomore then finished with an even par 72 on Wednesday with five more birdies.

Junior Jane Olson (81-74-81) rolled in eight total birdies en route to a t-84th place showing at plus-20 236, and freshman Maria Purroy Galan (82-83-76) holed five of her eight total birdies on Wednesday as she tied for 88th at plus-25 241.

Utah Tech will start its 2025 spring slate at the Utah Valley Wigwam Preview, which will be played on Feb. 2-4, at the Wigwam Resort in Litchfield, Ariz.
