Day two saw two more three more team records broke.
Kylie Bishop got the high jump record,
Addi Wyatt nabbed her own 800 meters record, and the Blazers 4X400 team shattered the team's previous best. The day also saw a host of personal bests providing points and a great launching point into the outdoor track season.
Coach
Derrick Atkins expressed his excitement in how the team performed across the championship: "We did a great job getting improving on previous years. We broke multiple school records, especially in the 4X400. We had our first ever first-team all-conference runner in just our second year with and indoor program. The coaches and the staff put their all into it and the ladies did their best. We are excited going into outdoors especially with our first home meet."

DAY TWO COMPETITON: The Blazers first event of the day was the high jump where three Trailblazers competed. The highlight of the crew was the fifth team record of the meet when
Kylie Bishop cleared 5' 3" (1.60m).
Morgan Callens jump a season best 5' 1" (1.55m) good for fourth in program history.
Lainee Leavitt was the third Utah Tech athlete to contest the event.

Addi Wyatt took on the first running final of the day in the 800 after qualifying through in eighth on Friday. She opened up with a blazing 32 second split before running a pair of 34's and closing in just over 33 seconds in all adding up to 2:14.18 to knock off a couple more 10ths from her own school record set in the prelims. The run was good fort fifth in the final getting the Trailblazers on the board scoring four points for the team.

The final individual event of the day was the 3,000 meter run.
Lexi Larsen ran in front for the Blazers. With a big finish Larsen passed four runners in the final 600 meters and used a massive 36 second final lap to finish fifth in her heat running a 10:25.74, taking the second spot on the teams all time top 10 list.
Kirstin Williams was the next finisher with a time of 10:32.88, her second personal best of the meet. Next was
Shakayla Morgan who ran a beautifully pace race with splits between 42-44 on 12 of 15 laps plus a 36 second final lap good for 10:41.26 a PR for her as well.
Mariah Skinner made it a perfect four for four on personal bests running 10:53.72 close behind.

As is always the case the meet closed down with the 4X400 meter relay. The team of
Megan Jenkins,
Addi Wyatt,
Kelly Denninghoff, and
Alaynah Reed crushed the previous school record running a time of 3:53.81 to close out the meet the right way for the Trailblazers.
