Dixie State swimming combined to break four school records and posted several top-10 program marks on day two of the 2021 Trailblazer Invitational Friday at the DSU HPC Pool.

Sophomore
Akalia Bostock went for the "daily double" by breaking, then re-breaking, the school's 400-yard IM record. The sophomore clocked the second-fastest heat time of the event with a school record 4:25.57, then went on to podium in the race final with a third-place event time of 4:25.10, which bested her record time from earlier in the day by .47 seconds.

Meanwhile, freshman
Paulina Sansores won the "C" final of the 400 IM with a 4:28.46, which was the third-fastest mark in program history.

Ally Boynton answered her teammate's double-up with one of her own as she posted two record-breaking times in the 100 back. Boynton set a new DSU record with a preliminary time of 56.57, then went on to better that mark by over .60 of a second with a "B" final winning time of 55.94.

In addition, sophomore
Skyler Lyon recorded the ninth-fastest 100 breast time at DSU with a 1:03.75, which was good for third in the "B" final of that event.

In the relays, the DSU 200 medley "A" team clocked the fourth-fastest time in program history with a 12
th-place 1:45.56, with sophomore
Gabbie Adams setting the pace with a 27.54 (#8 all-time at DSU) in the 50 back.
Then in the 800 free relay, the DSU "A" team recorded the third-fastest time at DSU with a third-place 7:37.67, with Bostock getting out in 1:53.06 (#7 all-time at DSU) in the first 200 yards. Meanwhile the "B" team placed 12
th-overall at 7:44.39 (#6 all-time at DSU).
The final day of the Trailblazer Invitational will begin at 10 a.m., with several preliminary events, followed by the evening session at 5 p.m. Live streaming video of all Invitational events can be found at
