Trailblazers Move Up One Spot to Sixth on Day #3 at the 2026 MPSF Swim Championships

Utah Tech swimmers posted solid marks and vaulted up the team leaderboard on night three of the 2026 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation Women's Swimming and Diving Championships on Friday at the PSJA Natatorium in Pharr, Texas.
 
Day three saw the Trailblazers move up one spot to sixth place overall place with 422.5 points, 14.5 points clear of seventh place Pepperdine (408 pts). Northern Arizona remains in the lead with 912 points, followed by New Mexico State (795 pts) in second and Northern Colorado (791.5 pts) in third.
 
In the first final of night three, the 100-yard butterfly, Gabby Henry posted a runner-up finish in the consolation final and posted the eighth-fastest time in program history with a 55.02. 
 
Cera Mallory continued her solid weekend with a second-place showing in the 200 free consolation final at 1:50.86, while Coco Riding touched the wall first in the bonus final with a season-best time of 1:52.56.
 
Mary Sims Clark was the lone Trailblazer to swim in a championship final heat on Thursday night, doing so in the 100 back, where she placed sixth-overall with a time of 55.12. Earlier in the day, the junior clocked a season-best mark, and the top preliminary time overall with a 54.47. 
 
The final day of competition at the 2026 MPSF Championships will begin on Saturday morning at 9 a.m. (MT), with the preliminary heats in the 200 backstroke. The final races will follow on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m. (MT), with the championship heats in the 1,650 free.
