Munns and Miller score 14 in loss to #17 Pittsburg State

Box Score

LAS VEGAS, NV -- Dixie State guard Kaylah Miller (San Diego, CA/La Jolla Country Day) and center Mandy Munns (Brigham City, UT/Box Elder) each scored fourteen points in a 81-58 loss to #17 ranked Pittsburg State in the final game of the Las Vegas Challenge at the Orleans Arena.

The Red Storm shot a season low 31 percent (19-61) for the game and were challenged by a physical and athletic Gorilla squad. DSC committed 20 turnovers in the game and PSU converted those into 28 points.

Three PSU players finished in double figures with Lizzy Jeronimous leading the way with 20 points.

The Red Storm dropped both games at the inaugural Las Vegas Challenge and will now have 12 days off before traveling to take on a tough Seattle Pacific squad on New Year's Eve in Seattle.
