First year Utah Tech head women's basketball coach
Adam Wardenburg announced on Monday the signing of Canadian prep post standout
Eva Woodward to a financial aid agreement ahead of the upcoming 2026-27 season.
"Eva is a great addition for us, her size is a great addition down low, and her defense will be huge for us protecting the paint," Coach Wardenburg said. "Eva is also an elite teammate who takes great joy in the success of others. She will be great for our championship culture!"
Woodward (6-5; North Vancouver, British Columbia) earned First Team 4A Provincial and North Shore All-Star honors at Argyle Secondary School as a senior this past season.
The freshman-to-be helped lead the Pipers to the 2026 4A Provincial championship, and was voted as the School Sport Canada top defensive player in 2024-25. She also played for the Canadian VK Basketball club program.
