SAINT GEORGE, UT
- The #12 ranked Dixie State College women's basketball ran their home winning streak to 21 games with a 73-40 blowout win over Notre Dame de Namur University on Wednesday night in the Burns Arena.

Closing out their regular season home schedule, the Red Storm (21-2, 11-1 PWC) scampered to victory over a struggling Argonaut (8-15, 5-9 PWC) squad.

NDNU managed to score only 10 points in the first half and would shoot 15.4 percent from the field making only four field goals.

Leading 31-10 at the half, the Red Storm would shoot 46.9 percent in the second half and coast to the victory.

“We took care of the ball on the offense side, but we just needed to play with more intensity,” Coach Angie Kristensen. “We were able to make those adjustments at halftime.”

The Red Storm committed a season low eight turnovers for the game and had zero in the first half. The stingy Red Storm defense forced the Argonauts into 18 turnovers and would covert them into 24 points.
