(St. George, Utah - Aug. 27, 2025) - The Trailblazer men's basketball program and head coach
Jon Judkins has announced the signing of UT Permian Basin transfer
Dario Domingos to a financial aid agreement ahead of the upcoming 2025-26 season on Wednesday.
Domingos arrives at Utah Tech with one season of eligibility remaining after taking a well-traveled road over his first five seasons of collegiate action.
A native of Angola, Domingos prepped at Quality Education Academy in Winston-Salem, N.C. before moving on to New Mexico Junior College for a pair of seasons in 2020-21 and 2021-22 earning All-Western Junior College Athletic Conference (WJCAC) Honorable Mention honors in his second season averaging 12 points and 6.9 rebounds per game.
Back-to-back seasons in a pair of WAC programs saw Domingos spend the 2022-23 season at UT Arlington playing in 27 games for the Mavericks while reaching double figures in three contests.
He moved on to Tarleton State a year later in 2023-24 seeing action in 21 contests and notching a 64.9 field goal percentage (eighth in the WAC, but did not qualify) as the Texans won 25 games and advanced to the semifinals of the College Invitational Tournament.
Heading to Division II UT Permian Basin last season, Domingos earned Second Team All-Lone Star Conference honors starting all 28 games for the Falcons and was second on the club in scoring average (13.0 ppg), total rebounds (162), steals (37), made field goals (140) and free throws made (84).
He earned Lone Star Conference Defensive Player of the Week honors in December 2024 after recording 15 rebounds, five steals and two blocks to lead UTPB to a pair of road victories over Oklahoma Christian and Cameron and ranked 43rd in all of NCAA Division II with 2.96 offensive rebounds per game.
Domingos is the eighth newcomer to the 2025-26 roster joining six previous spring signees and fall 2023 signee
Tanner Davis.
